New Keyboard, New Layout

I got my new keyboard! It was getting really frustrating having to use the windows built-in on-screen keyboard. Even though this one is 'spill' proof im determined never to drink Pepsi by it ever again.. so i say anyway.

You may have noticed, those who have commented recently i gave my LJ a new layout, Its not anything to be proud of, its just BRIGHT which is what i wanted, didnt take me long, though considerately longer than it should because i was coding without the use of a keyboard.
But yeh i really couldnt be bothered to spend much time on it, i just wanted it done so i made do with whatever i put together in the hour or so i spent on it. Its not even finished, and most likely never will be.

Its really strange working on this keyboard.. the buttons are so close together, and i imported it from the USA so the symbols are different on the keys (i still use UK standard keyboard on my PC) so It may look like a hit the wrong key but yeh it isnt. Oh and the built in 'mouse' is well weird!

I just spent the last 3 hours of my life reading up about HD DVD's and BD's. Trying to decide which i prefer, personally im more on the HD DVD side, but i'm more interested in watching how things will go in the future, which will become more dominant. I'm interested in bollocks like this.
Much like the whole PS3 VS Xbox 360. THIS format war annoys the fuck out of me. Why cant people just accept both as being great consoles? yes i have a preference of the PS3 because:

  • 1. No games on the 360 interest me whatsoever
  • 2. PS3 games DO interest me
  • 3. Im a technology whore and higher spec will win me over

    • What i hate is people slagging off one of the consoles just because they have a preferenece for the other. ITS THE COMPANIES AT WAR, NOT THE CONSUMERS. its not a crime to accept both consoles as being successful.

    Sorry for the rant, it just really frustrates me! wow what a long entry. Now that ive had my say, im going to go and make a keesh.

    Although I ADORED the Kyo layout the Boosh layout is very nice too! Very bright indeed *blind*

    You think your keyboard is weird, mines Chinese! hahah XD

    Im hating this whole HD vs BlueRay crap, Why cant it just be one?!
    I dont particulary like the PS3 but hey, selling it gives me wage lol

    yeh i love my kyo one, i still have it, its just on an S2 layer so i can switch any time, i want to add a lil box in one of the components on the right where people can switch between layouts, i have 2 kyos and a mighty boosh 1 now.

    Chinese omg XD that would just confuse me XD yeh i know, i think it will go HD DVD, but at the moment it looks like its going to be both, how annoying!

    Ahh! I hare the console wars too - the GC vs XBOX vs PS2 ones were bad enough (I don't care what your preference is - that's no reason to bitch about other people's choices) but with the next gen consoles it's like comparing apples & oranges, as they're all TOTALLY DIFFERENT - Wii is good for weird quirky games, PS3 is an all-round entertainment machine, 360 seems to be somewhere in the middle.

    The annoying thing is that it seems to just be blanket prejudice against the company that makes the console - most of the PS3 & 360 hate seems to be "OMG Microsoft/Sony suck!".

    My reasons for the PS3 are the same as yours with the additional reason that it's compatible with my PSP & I can transfer stuff between them.


    BTW, this is the keyboard I'm lusting after & plan to get when I have the money: DAS KEYBOARD!. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you - the keys are *totally* blank.

    I know its so stupid! the whole againts the company thing as well it really is pathetic. and yeh i agree with the whole PSP thing, it acts as an extra controller as well, i linked mine up and you can like control the ps3 on the psp, its mad XD i didnt expect that~

    Wii is just so cute and different its actually my fave bless it, it doesnt even come close to the spec of the other two but it doesnt need to to be like top selling console XD how amazing is that XD!

    omg that keyboard would confuse the fuck outta me LOL id just stare at it n be like. k so erm.. where are the letters XD

    Haha! It would take a bit of getting used to it, but it would so confuse the fuck outta people trying to use your computer. Also you could set it to any keyboard layout you wanted & it wouldn't matter.

    Actually though, I think this has to be officially the most awesome keyboard ever:

    I hate to say it but, I think Sony is at a loss this time, they aren't selling enough Ps3's as they expected, and it is not close to being sold out.
    I dislike the wars too, and I can't say I prefer either Microsoft or Sony, my fav of all time would have to be Nintendo though, I'm a bit fond of the old games, and the new ones too.

    i know why though, its cause theyr so DAMN expensive! but even at £425 theyr still losing money on every console they sell! Sony got enough support and money though so theyl win the market back sooner or later.

    YES the wii is my fave and the DS lite i love them to pieces! they beat ps3/360 anyday! =D
